VPS Hosting

Am I able to upgrade or downgrade my VPS?

At the present moment, you are only able to upgrade your VPS. Downgrades are not possible due to file system limitations.

Which operating systems do you offer?

For pre-installation, we offer AlmaLinux, Debian, Rocky Linux and Ubuntu.

Additionally, we offer netboot.xyz, FreeBSD and OpenBSD for manual installation.

Can I upload my own ISO?

Yes!

Customers are able to use their operating system of choice including Windows, FreeBSD and other Linux distributions such as CentOS and Arch by uploading a custom ISO image.

Keep in mind that there is a 5GB limitation for ISOs and that ISOs get deleted after 48 hours.

Where is your data center located?

We host our VPS nodes in New York City.

What am I allowed to host?

Anything not restricted by the terms of service is allowed. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Which ports are blocked by default?

For VPS hosting, outgoing Port 25 is blocked by default.

If you wish to unblock Port 25 the first time, you will need to open a ticket with the IP to be unblocked. If you want it ASAP, please give a legal identification document such as a driver’s license or passport for an individual, or company registration documents for a business.

Alternatively, you can wait a period of approximately two days after the opening of the ticket if you don’t wish to provide identification.

However, if you already have a VPS with unblocked port 25, a ticket will unblock all subsequent servers upon receipt of a ticket. If you abuse the unblocked Port 25 for spam, you will forgo the right to Port 25 on all servers.

Am I allowed to host Tor exit relays?

Yes! In fact our founder/CEO runs exit relays too. Just open a ticket telling that you are running one.

Keep in mind that as of now we require a restrictive exit policy only allowing ports 53, 80, 443 and 8080 in your exit policy. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. We may allow other ports in the future but can’t give any guarantees.

What are the specifications of your hypervisor nodes?

The specifications are:

  • AMD Ryzen 9900X – 12-core CPU
  • 256GB (4x64GB) DDR5 RAM
  • 2x4TB NVMe SSD (RAID 1)
  • 10 Gigabit NIC
What’s your SLA?

We aim for 99.9% uptime. However, there are some exceptions

  • Scheduled maintenance windows, announced 24 hours in advance
  • Upgrades done by the account holder
  • Account suspension due to non-payment
  • Errors caused by the account holder

If there is ever any downtime, an account holder is welcome to ping us for account credit within one week of the outage.

Static IP Tunnels

What is the purpose of this service?

An increasing number of Internet Service Providers share a public IP address via Carrier Grade NAT, while other connections are behind another firewall which makes hosting services impossible. Static IP tunneling allows for self-hosting services regardless of which connection you are on.

What protocol do you use?

We use L2TP without IPsec.

Am I able to upgrade or downgrade my Static IP Tunneling service?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time.

Keep in mind that if you downgrade, pro-rated credit may not apply. In that case, please contact support.

Why not get a static IP from my ISP?

First off, many ISPs do not offer static IP address unless you’re on a very expensive “business” plan. Second, even if an ISP does offer you a static IP, you normally have to pay $10-25/mo for one. Lastly, if you ever change your ISP or move, you will have to change your IP address.

Can I have an IPv6-only plan?

Yes! We have IPv6-only plans for customers who do not require or already have a public IPv4 address.

Is the Static IP Tunnel a privacy service?

No.

The static IP tunnel is not a privacy service. We cannot help you avoid Google and Meta tracking. While we don’t log traffic, you shouldn’t rack up abuse complaints because you see this as a service to torrent to your heart’s content.

Which routers and operating systems support the Static IP Tunneling service?

Most “enterprise-grade” routers like Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti EdgeRouter and OPNsense support our tunneling service.

Additionally, most desktop and server operating systems such as Linux, Windows, macOS and BSD will work with our service.

This service will NOT work behind a mobile device. However, it will work on a desktop or server system tethered to a mobile device, or on a cellular-based fixed wireless connection (i.e. fixed LTE or 5G).

Billing

How does billing work?

For our VPS and VPN tunnels, we offer month-to-month or yearly subscriptions. This is done on a prepaid basis.

What’s your refund policy?

A refund is available anytime within the first 30 days of ordering.

Can I get pro-rated credit?

Yes! Well, provided that you don’t keep ordering and breaking services on a whim.

We don’t believe in charging users for services they don’t need.

How do I cancel my service?

You can log into the billing portal and cancel your service by clicking the “Request Cancellation” button.

If you need account credit after cancelling, ping us and we’ll provide it.
